a formal apology to my loyal watchers

to my dearest watchers,
i know some of you have probably noticed i have not been very active on my own page in the past month and i apologize. what happened was last month i fell very ill and i was in the hospital for two weeks and i am still recovering. physically i am almost completely well again but now the emotional effect is taking its toll. so this is why i have not been on as much as i used to be, but when i do come on i try i to fave and comment and talk as much as possible which i believe counts more than updating. but i promise when i am feeling up to it updates on my page will come, and also my next journal will explain what exactly happened to me last month. while i know some people may not reply to this, i'm hoping i get some acknowledgment from this, just to know that hopefully people didn't stop paying attention to me because i've been away for so long, and yes i do apologize again for it and i'm slowly but surely getting my life back together and standing on my own two feet again. with the love and support of my friends and family, and my hope, soon enough, i will be back to my old self. so friends, bear with me and i hope to hear from you, i may not reply to your comments immediately, but i will get back to you in a timely fashion. to all you guys who have supported me, thank you.

hi! my name is Steph. i was born on July 8th, 1990, in Philadelphia, PA. i am a varied artist, though i specialize in poetry and pixel art. i'm not exactly the best artist in the world and i am still learning. but if you stop by and take a look there may be something you can find here that you like.

some interesting facts about me:

*i am very interested in the paranormal. i am a huge Ghost Hunters fan and i watch it every wednesday. i own every episode to date on DVD. my favorite place to visit and to investigate is Gettysburg, PA. so much history there and it's a beautiful town.

*i am an expert at "spontaneous poetry". spontaneous poetry is basically poetry that the writer can think up off the top of their head. it doesn't require corrections or for the writer to think about what they're going to write next to have the poem make sense. for spontaneous poets, the words just flow onto the paper (or the screen, if you're at the computer).

*i am generally friendly and will get along with anyone. as long as you respect me, i will respect you. i am also very forgiving if you ask me. i don't like to hold grudges, even if someone holds one against me.

*music is my life. i couldn't live without it.

*i absolutely HATE reading books, though ironically i've written two novels, one i actually started when i was in fourth grade.

*i'm 19, but i'm still unsure of what i want to do as a career. right now i am working and will attend college in the upcoming fall.

*i suffer from a rare hereditary illness called Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT), which affects the blood vessels all over the body. it is not very well known and it is a very serious and sometimes fatal condition. the reason it is not very well known is because not many people understand it (including doctors). since HHT has affected my life pretty greatly, i hope to someday be a part of a group of others out there with this illness that someday changes that. if you like, you can read more about HHT here: [link]

*i am a 90's kid, so i grew up with some of the best cartoons/kids shows ever made. Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Rugrats (BEFORE they were "all growed up"), Are You Afraid of the Dark, Pete & Pete, Tiny Toons, Aahh Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, etc. etc. the 90's ruled!! aaahh eee ooohh...KILLER TOFU!!!(and if you're a true 90's kid you know exactly what i'm talking about! XD)

*when you first meet me, you'd think i was a sweet, innocent girl. but once you really got to know me, you'll discover that i'm a crazy, party-animal, fun-loving chick, though very fun to be around. and although i may seem too un-serious at times, i'm really not. i can also be very compassionate, caring and understanding. i am also a very hard worker.

*yes, i'll admit: i have an EXTREMELY perverted mind. XD damn proud of it too.
